From my first WorldHostingDays in 2015 to CloudFest 2026… let’s just say: not only the years have passed!

What has really changed?
The level. The conversations. The network.

Every year, the bar gets higher, and somehow this community keeps raising it again.

This edition?
Sharp sessions. Straight-talking people. And the kind of conversations you don’t find on a Teams call. Whether it was on the expo floor or somewhere deep into the night at the (after)parties… this is where real connections are made.

Big shoutout to Christian Jaeger and his team for continuously leveling up this event.

On January 28th and 29th, I attended the Ubiquiti UniFi Wireless Admin (UWA) training at Wimood in Goedereede — a deep‑dive into designing, deploying, and optimizing professional WiFi networks using the UniFi platform. I’m happy to share that I successfully completed the training.

It was a valuable blend of theory, hands‑on exercises, and practical best practices around UniFi’s wireless solutions.

A big thank you to the Wimood team for the clear guidance, great hospitality, and an inspiring two days of learning.

Looking forward to applying these insights in upcoming projects at Mikromedia and helping clients build even more reliable and high‑performance wireless networks.

After another full day back in the classroom yesterday in Goedereede (a fitting name in Dutch for such a productive day), I’m excited to share that I have successfully completed the Ubiquiti: Unifi Routing, Switching & Cybersecurity Admin (URSCA) certification. It even brought me back to my school days, diving deep into network infrastructure and how it all works.

The journey doesn’t stop here — the Ubiquiti: Unifi Wireless Admin (UWA) certification is already scheduled for January 2026.

Continuous learning keeps us sharp and ready for what’s next!

Today, I successfully earned the Ubiquiti: Unifi Full Stack Professional (UFSP) certification with confidence. Immediately after, I kicked off the next challenge: Ubiquiti: Unifi Routing, Switching & Cybersecurity Admin (URSCA) — aiming to complete this certification tomorrow after an intensive training day.

Looking ahead, the Ubiquiti: Unifi Wireless Admin (UWA) certification is already on my roadmap for early 2026.

Na een korte break in Porto, nu weer aan de slag!

Gisteren was al een inspirerende eerste dag vol ontmoetingen met accountmanagers, mede-MSP’s en innovatieve vendoren. Mooi om te zien hoe sterk onze community groeit en hoe de toekomst van managed services zich ontwikkelt.

Als MSP-ondernemer werk ik dagelijks aan cloud- en Microsoft 365-omgevingen voor bedrijven, en het is waardevol om hier te zien hoe snel onze wereld evolueert: van traditionele dienstverlening naar “Managed Intelligence Providers”, met AI, security en automatisering als drijvende krachten.

Vandaag en morgen staan nog vol met interessante sessies en goede gesprekken — volop kansen om kennis te delen en nieuwe ideeën mee naar huis te nemen.
