We manage the workplaces, network and security of small and mid-sized companies in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Since 2007, from Susteren, in the strip where the Netherlands is 4.8 kilometres wide.
Mikromedia was founded on 4 January 2007 and has been run by the same person ever since. So you speak to the one who knows your environment, rather than someone who has to ask internally.
That cuts both ways: we do not take on more clients than we can handle. It is a deliberate choice.
Because a border means nothing to IT, while proximity still means something. Susteren is five minutes from two of them, and our clients are on all three sides. A German site on the same tenant, a Belgian supplier in the same chain, and rules that differ slightly per country are ordinary work here.
What matters is not the country but whether someone shows up when something needs doing, and whether they know how your environment is put together.
We are a participant in Ubiquiti's UniFi Partner Program, a Pax8 partner for Microsoft licensing, and a member of the Dutch Cloud Community, the trade association for the Dutch cloud and internet sector.
Alongside the managed services, the same company builds tools under the name Mikrotools: integrations, portals and automations for work that keeps coming back.
Network, cameras and access on one platform
The full UniFi ecosystem from a single supplier. Gateway with firewall and intrusion detection, switching, Wi-Fi, VPN between sites and a second line that takes over when the first drops, with cameras, doors and network storage on top. One screen instead of three vendors pointing at each other.
Microsoft 365 that is configured, not merely switched on
Accounts, permissions, devices and updates. Set up with Intune and Defender so that joining and leaving is one action instead of a search. Telephony belongs here too: managed voice, also from Teams.
Backup and email protection
Backup of your Microsoft 365 environment and protection of your domain against misuse. Tested, because a backup that has never been restored is an assumption.
Domains, websites and hosting
Domain registration, DNS, SSL certificates, WordPress hosting and VPS. Managed by the same party that knows your email and security, so the three never get in each other's way.
Yes. Susteren sits in the strip where the Netherlands is 4.8 kilometres wide. The Belgian and the German border are both five minutes away by car. Liège and Genk in Belgium, and Aachen and Düsseldorf in Germany, are all within an hour's drive. Clients with sites on both sides of a border are normal here, not an exception.

We work with suppliers inside the EU and record per engagement where data is held and who is responsible for what. Where we process data on your behalf we sign a data processing agreement. Mikromedia is a member of the Dutch Cloud Community, the trade association where exactly these questions are debated.
